The Cycle That Never Ends — And Why It's Not Your Fault

You've tried. Harder than most people realize. So why does it keep happening?

You've been here before. You find something that works — the weight starts moving, you feel like yourself again, you finally feel like you cracked it. And then, slowly, it stops. The cravings come back. The results plateau. Maintaining it takes everything you have, and eventually something gives.

So you regroup. You find a new approach. And the whole thing starts over.

Most people, when this happens, land in the same place: something must be wrong with me. Not enough willpower. Not consistent enough. Not the kind of person who can actually do this.

That conclusion is wrong. And the industry knows it's wrong — and keeps selling you things anyway.

Here's the part nobody wants to say out loud: the approaches most people have been given were never designed to create permanent results. They were designed to create temporary results good enough to sell the next product. A diet that works for three months and then stops is, from a business perspective, a perfect product — because it sends you right back to the market looking for the next thing.

The cycle isn't evidence that you failed. It's evidence that the approach failed you.

I spent thirty years working with people who had tried everything. And what I found, over and over again, wasn't a willpower problem. It was a systems problem. The body has its own finely tuned regulatory systems — hunger signals, satiety signals, metabolic regulation — systems designed to keep you lean and healthy automatically, without the constant effort. But modern life has disrupted those systems in ways that have nothing to do with your character or your choices.

And no amount of discipline or restriction fixes a disrupted system. It just fights it — for a while, until you're exhausted.

The only thing that actually works long-term is restoring those systems. So the body can do what it was always designed to do — quietly, in the background, while you get on with living your life.

That's not a philosophy. That's biology. And I've put together the full explanation — the real problem, why every approach eventually stops working, and what the alternative actually looks like — in one place.

If any of this sounds familiar, this is the page I'd want you to read. No program to buy. No sign-up required. Just the honest answer to why the cycle keeps happening — and what's actually on the other side of it.
